Mission History
On November 12, 1942 or November 13, 1942 took off from Henderson Field on Guadalcanal and flew low over Sealark Channel and Iron Bottom Sound. A few miles off the coast, this C-47 exploded and fragments fell into the sea. The entire crew were killed in the crash. Officially, this aircraft was stricken off charge on November 30, 1942.
